Toni
I joined the team in 2013 as a Saturday girl, I then started my training as a full-time member of the team in 2014 and I am now a level 1 stylist. I have now started L’Oréals colour specialist course which has been put on hold (Thanks Covid) however I look forward to restarting next year. I love all aspects of working in the salon especially highlighting, long hair, hair ups and working as part of a team. I am also up the challenge of all changes even as small as adding texture or changing how you would style your hair. Working in the salon I have had many amazing opportunities to assist in show work like the alternative hair show and London fashion week also helping assist Alan with education in and outside of the salon.

I joined Alan Edwards Salon in 2014 when I began my training, I then worked my way up and became Elaine’s assistant before going on the floor as a graduate stylist. Since then I have had the opportunity to go to Graduate Fashion Week, L’Oréal Colour Trophy, and help backstage at various shows and photoshoots. In 2019 I completed my L’Oréal Colour Specialist Degree which then allowed me to gain a greater knowledge in colour and become an educator within the salon, participating in our educational events. I love all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy the ever changing trends that keep us constantly learning and evolving. I specialise in Balayage and Long hair styles and love to create colour that is bespoke and personalised to my client.

Although I enjoy every facet of hairdressing, my real passion lies in creating natural finishes within my colour work. Primarily working in balayage and freehand lightening techniques, my aim is always to create a seamless result. I particularly enjoy working with natural hair textures, feeling an affinity to curly and wavy hair. I have been with Alan Edwards since 2014, graduating from the training programme in 2017 and have continued to develop my skills on the floor since then. I am an educator within the salon. Guiding our assistant team through the Alan Edwards Academy training programme is extremely rewarding and training night always makes for great fun. I also have a role as an SVQ assessor, working alongside the assistants to elevate their skills to a level where they can achieve their SVQ qualifications. If you like talking about books, podcasts, and vegan food, then I’m your man. Check out some of my work on instagram @Jayhanlinhair
