I am a senior stylist within the salon. I have been working here for over 20 years and can offer a range of skills including re-styling, colouring and fabulous blow dries.
I joined the Alan Edwards team in 1992 as an assistant, completing my full training inside 3 years. In 2002 I was promoted to Manager of the Wilson Street Salon, which provides a wide variation in addition to my overall roles running a busy salon 4 days a week. Also, I'm passionately engaged in my teaching roles as part of the education team which trains our full portfolio of assistants. To further enhance my skill set I completed an A1 Assessors Course in 2007.
I joined the salon in 1997 and worked hard to progress to and thrive in an artistic role at the highest level. 10 years with the salon afforded me many unique opportunities - finalist at the British hairdressing awards, posts at London fashion week, exciting photo shoots and trips country wide and abroad giving training seminars and doing shows in 2007. Exciting as this is to me, my main focus has always been my client care. My clients getting the service and attention they deserve is everything I stand for. I left the salon to travel the world and experience different horizons. I returned to my spiritual "home" at the beginning of 2013. I relish being back working in such a thriving and inspirational environment and feel like I'm back where I belong.
I'm Erin, one of the senior stylists in the Southside salon. I love working with the girls, we have a great wee team. I started at the company as a Saturday/Sunday girl and have now worked here for 15 years (scary). I still only feel 18 years old! I did the training with our assistants for many years and now take part in our amazing in-house cut and colour nights that keep us up to date with the latest hair and fashion trends. It’s great seeing new colour techniques to help enhance the haircuts. I love seeing our clients going away with something we have created that is a bit different and, of course, with a big smile.
Fiona's art team career started as assistant when she was one of the finalists of L'Oréal's Talent Spotting. This was her first taste of creative freedom. Since then her artistic career has jumped forward by leaps and bounds. She was one of the key members of the team that won the coveted L'Oréal colour trophy on the 50th anniversary. Fiona has worked on shoots for in-salon and magazine work, but her main passion is show work, whether it be big extravagant work or demure, classic catwalk shows.
