Real Nice Folk

Folk LookTHE folk inspiration is based on megastars like Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan along with edgy newcomers like Florence and the Machine and Fiest. With make-up that’s natural and looks easy to apply and wear, the hair has loose disconnection with air drying.

Long, flowing locks are hot along with session pleats, crimps large and small, and beautiful messes on wheat blondes, cherry reds, muddy browns, the shimmery colours of oil and petrol, burnt toffee, burnt orange and raisin plum.

The look is finished with layered, rough fabrics – wool, canvas, Indian print textiles, cotton, hessian, chunky knits. It’s all very loose and disconnected – casually at ease while looking fantasic!
